* Lucine Dax was born in 2682 on the planet Trill. An only child of simple farming parents. From birth she was exceptionally bright. By age 2 she was reading everything in sight. Her school years were difficult as she was far more advanced than her classmates. She was a loner and didn't easily make friends. She tried to help out on the farm, but her mind always wandered with dreams of following in her second cousin, Jadzia's, footsteps and becoming joined with a sentient.
