| + | Serena is Betazoid, but passes for human and does not broadcast her hertiage due to people hounding her to use her abilities. As a full Betazoid, she has both empathic and telepathic abilities. She feels however, that these abilities are intrusive to others and when off Betazed, chooses not to use them. Her husband, an Engineer, created a special psi dampener for her, which effectively blocks these abilities. She wears the psi dampener in a locket around her neck which she rarely removes. Removing the locket causes a heavy inflow of psi power and can stun/overwhelm her for a few moments before her powers rebalance. | ||
